- 24 oz. Potato Inspirations® potatoes
- 4 tbsp. unsalted butter
- 1 tsp. minced garlic
- Juice from one lemon
- Salt & pepper, to taste
- Shredded Parmesan cheese, if desired
- 1 tbsp. fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 tbsp. fresh chives, chopped
Place potatoes in a pot of salted water & bring to a boil for 10 minutes or until fork tender. Drain potatoes & allow them to steam dry while butter sauce cooking.
Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat. As it begins to foam, continue stirring the butter turns to a light brown color. Once butter turns a deep brown color, it will release a nutty aroma. This is when your butter is properly browned. You should see tiny dark bits in the bottom of the skillet.
Once the butter is browned, add garlic and fry for 1 minute, then stir in juiced lemon. Add boiled potatoes and give them a good stir to coat them well in the brown butter sauce.
Garnish with parmesan cheese & fresh herbs.
